Spring
Fluffy white clouds racing across a crystal blue sky. The early warmth of the sun. The smell of salt air drifting on a gentle breeze. An irresistible urge to be outside in the fresh air. To walk, to play, to enjoy being alive.
Spring brings a celebration of St. Patrick's Day, with a parade and festival, food and music. The Convention Center hosts the Antique Show, the Home & Garden Show, the renowned Ward Foundation World Championship Wildfowl Competition and the Flower Show. Springfest kicks off the summer season with a fun-filled four-day festival of music and arts. There are local spring festivals and historical re-enactments. And the finale is Arts Atlantica, a three-day celebration of fine arts along our famous Boardwalk.
Spring visitors to Ocean City find a luxury of space, a relaxed quality to the pace of life. There is a wealth of things to see and do, and the time to take advantage of all of them.
Summer
Aaah. It's here! The beat is faster, the energy is skyrocketing. It's party time! One big blast. The sun warms you on the beach, the water cools you down. The days are long and slow...the nights you can dance and party away.
Summer is the high season. Everything you want, whenever you want it. Kick it off with the Firemen's Parade, celebrate with the dazzle of the Fourth of July, compete in the world famous White Marlin Open. Dance at the Greek Festival, catch a tennis tournament, cheer on a baseball team, marvel at the local summer fairs and special events. Concerts, art openings, antique shows, flea markets...catch your breath and keep on going.

Autumn
The beat of the summer heat slows to the comforting warmth of fall. The crowds thin, the kids are back in school, the city sweeps away the confetti of summer and sparkles anew.
The fall season starts with a Labor Day weekend extravaganza, and is followed by the State Surfing Championships, the Kite Festival and the four days of Sunfest. Next come the Hunting and Fishing Expo, the Surf Fishing Tournament, Winefest on the Beach, Corvette Weekend, the Offshore Powerboat Races, Oktoberfest, the Fall Fest of Fine Art and the Christmas Craft Expo. It's also the best season for local festivals, including the sweet sounds of the Berlin Fiddler's Convention.
The days are still glorious, the beach is still the place to be. The vivid colors of a kite dance in the wind. The smell of caramel corn and french fries drifts down the Boardwalk.
Winter
There is a majestic beauty during the colder months of the year. The temperatures remain moderate, but the colors are more muted, the landscape more deserted. It is the time of year to balance being indoors and out...to enjoy the warmth after a brisk walk on the beach or an invigorating game of golf.
The resort dresses up for the holiday season, trimmed with decorations and the Winterfest of Lights. There are concerts, special tours and events. The Convention Center hosts the Nautical Wildlife Art Festival, the North American Crafts Show, the Golf Expo and the Seaside Boat Show.
All year long, Ocean City is a great place to be. Whenever you decide to visit, we'll be waiting with open arms.
